NSW Health probe COVID transmission between travellers INSIDE hotel quarantine



NSW Health has flagged the possible transmission of COVID-19 between travellers within a Sydney hotel quarantine facility.

Health authorities were notified on Friday after several returned overseas travellers – who were diagnosed with COVID-19 while in hotel quarantine – had the same viral sequence.

“This suggests there may have been transmission of the infection within hotel quarantine,” NSW Health said in a statement on Saturday.
